How stretched military is.
The kind of example the preemptive war policy of
Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld/Kristol et al. has set for other countries, such
as Russia.
Darfur.
The potential need for a military draft.

Jim Lehrer (and also Bob Schieffer) are well known proponents of a draft. They would never ask it, and expose a candidate as a potential drafter.
Is that because they want to keep the potential for a draft secret? Why?
